Blogging and Web Development is Closer Than Ever

Over the last month I have been focused on learning how to develop websites using the WordPress Framework technology.  By using CSS inheritance, we are able to create new websites faster with more built in features that closely integrate the blog content with the website content.

Why is that important?  Because a website that is closely integrated with blog technology will allow you to present data to visitors based on their search, and not a predetermined menu structure.

For months you’ve heard friends and colleges suggest you start a blog, but blogging seems to tedious.  We created an online information source (here on BusinessBlogging.net) to help the small business person learn how to effectively use blogging as a marketing tool.  Visit our Online Training pages to see a never ending source of knowledge.

The biggest question to answer is WHY?

Web pages are un-categorized knowledge; blog postings have two levels of categorization.  Categories and Tags.  Using categories and tags allows you to tie associated bits of knowledge together in a linking structure that visitors can easily follow.  This means you can shorten the volume of information and present a much more visually friendly page.  Less, more focused page content translates in to a better experience for the visitor.  Better web experiences translate into higher conversions.

Why business blog?  To close more deals.
