  1. Stop Wasting Money with Adwords

    Hi Ed,

When written clearly, internet postings on blog sites can appear on the first page of Google in a few minutes.
    >> everyone can get a first page on Google if things are done correctly. With all the web 2.0 tools it becomes easier than ever.

20% of all American adult internet users look for information on products and services they need or want daily
    >> But they have to be splitted into several categories:
    - just looking for general info (what’s that product?)
    - typing a specific benefit available on products (laptop with a sata2 500 Go hard disk) the brand doesn’t matter
    - looking for a very specific brand and model

The 2 last categories are really targeted visitors. They’re just a couple of clicks before being converted into buyers.

This is where good writing skills and smart advertising eventually convert them.

    Hi Arthur,

I disagree with your premises. I know you are promoting the book, but paying high prices for ad words doesn’t even guarantee you a spot on top of Google. Said so in the adwords agreement. No slam to Google, they are an awesome site and company.

Becare with suggesting there are gimmicks or tricks. While they may work for a short time, eventually businesses employing tricks will get burned.

The crux of my position is getting first page listings in the organic search results. Only ten listings allowed, so not everyone can be in those spots. The search engines are in business to give search what they are looking for. The clearer you are with what you actually do, the higher the site will be listed.

No gimmicks, to tricks. Great honest writing is the key.
